Terms of Service

1. What the Service is

The Service lets you upload a photo of yourself and photos of the pieces you want to try, generates photos of you wearing those pieces with AI, and offers new versions in other poses and settings, photo editing, stickers and saved records.

We keep adjusting the features. When adding, changing or stopping a feature would noticeably affect paying users, we announce it in advance.

2. Who may use it, and accounts

• You must be 18 or older to use the Service.
• The Service is signed in to with a Google account. Keep your Google account safe; you are responsible for what is done with your account.
• Please use only one account per person to receive the free quota.

3. What you may upload

Person photos

• Only photos of yourself.
• No photos of other people, including friends, family and public figures; no photos of anyone under 18.

Photos of pieces and accessories, and other pictures

• You must have the right to use the pictures you upload. Product pictures from online shops may be used for your own try-ons, but do not use someone else's pictures in a way that infringes their rights.

What may not be uploaded or generated

• Nudity, pornography or sexually suggestive content. The Service does not currently support swimwear or underwear.
• Images of minors.
• Content made to impersonate, harass, humiliate or defame someone.
• Content that breaks the law or infringes someone's copyright, likeness, privacy or other rights.

Uploaded photos and generated results are moderated automatically, and anything outside these rules is stopped. A stopped generation does not use your AI quota. Moderation is automatic and can be wrong; if you think something of yours was wrongly stopped, write to us.

4. What you may not do

• Access the Service automatically in bulk, or try to get around the quota, the moderation or other limits.
• Resell or rent out the Service, or share your account with others.
• Interfere with or damage the running of the Service, or try to get at other people's data.
• Pass off generated results as real photos to deceive others.

5. Rights to the content

Your content

The photos and pictures you upload remain yours (or their original rights holder's). You agree that we, and the providers that process data for us, may store, process and display this content as far as providing the Service requires, for example sending it for generation, making thumbnails and keeping it in your account. We do not use it for anything else; the details are in the Privacy Policy.

Generated results

As far as the law allows, we claim no rights to your generated results: you are free to keep, download and share them. Two things to note:

• Whether an AI-generated picture can be protected by copyright, and who holds it, differs from place to place, and we cannot guarantee it.
• The pieces, brand logos and patterns that appear in a result belong to their original rights holders. Before using a result commercially, check for yourself whether you have the permissions you need.

Our content

The Service's code, interface design, text, logos and the name "BeginDress" belong to us or to those who license them to us. Please do not copy them or use them for other purposes without our written consent.

6. About AI-generated results

• A try-on result is a simulation that the AI infers from photos: the colour, cut, length, fabric and fit may all differ from the real thing.
• Parts not shown in your photo are filled in by the AI and may not look like you.
• Results are for reference only. When deciding whether to buy a piece, go by the product's own information; we are not responsible for your purchasing decisions or for what you buy.
• The same photos can give a different result each time, and a generation can fail. A failed or moderated generation does not use AI quota.

7. Plans, AI quota and storage

• The Service has a free account and paid monthly plans. Each plan's price, monthly AI quota and storage are as shown on the Plans page at the time.
• AI quota: used by try-ons, new poses and occasions, cut-outs, erasing and AI stickers. The "about N pictures" on the pages is an estimate; what one use really takes depends on its content. The quota is counted afresh each period, and what is left does not carry over to the next.
• Add-on quota: a subscribed user can buy more. 【How long add-on quota lasts: to be decided】
• Storage: for keeping your results and pictures. When it is full, you need to delete some content or upgrade your plan before generating or saving more.
• When we change prices or what a plan includes, we announce it at least 30 days before it takes effect. For users already subscribed, a new price applies from the first charge after the announcement period; you can cancel before then.

8. Payment, renewal and cancellation

• A paid plan is charged monthly in advance and renews automatically when it runs out, until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time on My plan. After cancelling nothing more is charged; the period you have paid for runs to its end, and then the account goes back to free.
• Back on a free account, if what you have kept exceeds a free account's storage, it is not deleted, but you cannot generate or save more until the storage is back under the limit. 【How long content over the limit is kept: to be decided】
• When a renewal charge fails, we notify you and keep the plan for a few days so you can pay; if it is not paid by then, the account goes back to free.
• When an upgrade or downgrade takes effect, and how the difference is worked out, is as explained on the page at the time you make it.

9. Refunds

• The Service is an online service that can be used immediately after payment. By paying you agree to start using it at once, so the seven-day right to withdraw without reason does not, as a rule, apply after payment, and the fee for the current period and add-on quota already paid are not refunded.
• Exceptions: if you were charged twice or the wrong amount, or a problem on our side left you unable to use the Service for most of the current period, write to welsen@begindress.com and, after looking into it, we refund in full or in proportion.
• Where the law requires otherwise, the law applies.

10. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service at any time and ask for your account to be deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

We can suspend or terminate your account, or remove the content concerned, when:

• you break these Terms, in particular sections 3 and 4;
• the law or an authority requires it;
• it is necessary to protect other people or the safety of the Service.

Where the matter is not serious, we notify you first and give you a chance to put it right. When an account is terminated because you broke the Terms, fees already paid are not refunded; when it is terminated for other reasons, we refund the unused part of the period in proportion.

If we decide to close the whole Service, we announce it at least 30 days ahead so you have time to download your content, and we refund the unused part of the period in proportion.

11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

• The Service is provided "as is". We do our best to keep it stable, but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors, nor the accuracy of generated results or their fitness for your particular purpose.
• The Service depends on third-party AI and cloud services, whose interruptions or changes can affect it.
• As far as the law allows, our liability for damage arising from your use of the Service is limited to the fees you actually paid us in the 12 months before the event; for a free account it is limited to NT$【amount】.
• The limits above do not apply to damage caused by our intent or gross negligence, and do not affect rights the Consumer Protection Act and other laws give you that cannot be excluded by agreement.

12. Your undertaking

If the content you upload or the way you use the Service infringes someone's rights or breaks the law, and we are claimed against or fined as a result, you agree to bear the reasonable costs and damage that arise from it.

13. Changes to the Terms

When we change these Terms, we update the date at the top. For a material change we give at least 30 days' notice before it takes effect, on the website or by email. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the new Terms; if you do not, you can stop using the Service and cancel your plan.

14. Governing law and courts

These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of China (Taiwan). For a dispute arising from the Service, both sides agree that the 【Taiwan Taipei District Court】 is the court of first instance, without excluding the rules on small claims in the Consumer Protection Act and the Code of Civil Procedure.

15. Other

• If a provision of these Terms is found invalid, the others remain in force.
• Our not exercising a right at once does not mean we waive it.
• These Terms are written in Traditional Chinese; this English text is a translation for convenience. Where the two differ, the Traditional Chinese version prevails.
